We are looking to appoint you into the role of New Business Manager. It is an exciting time to join the business as we continue to grow and develop, evolving our systems and processes from strength to strength. We are looking for a motivated, driven and effective manager to join us on our journey who will lead the existing established team whilst further enhancing the function, ensuring service excellence throughout our payout process.

Whilst this role will oversee all aspects of the department to ensure a best in class service, the role will also include ‘hands on’ involvement to meet deadlines, ensuring maximum efficiency in order to exceed service levels through effective team management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and encourage the department ensuring all staff operate within the defined procedures and known responsibilities
  • Shape and deliver continuous improvements to maximise automation and efficiency
  • Effective management of the team including rota management, appraisal processes, development plans and any other HR activities as required
  • Complete first level oversight on a month basis, reviewing any discrepancies, providing feedback to staff and instigating any training where applicable
  • Chair monthly team meetings to ensure team engagement and contribution to the growth of the department

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven ability in a team leader or management role within a financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Motivated and driven to continually drive great outcomes
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office Suite
  • Positive mindset
  • Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement within a department
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Open and transparent style

  • Shift work required between hours of 08:00-20:00 Monday to Friday, and 09:00-18:00 Saturday and Sunday
