IT Infrastructure Team Leader

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and customer focussed individual. In this role you will be charged with ensuring controls and reporting are in place to safeguard the resiliency and security of the infrastructure.

Key Activities:

  • Proactively identify and implement system enhancements as technology changes
  • Responsible for co-ordinating infrastructure change work, from scoping and procurement through to testing and delivery
  • Work with leading 3rd party technology and cyber security specialists to deliver services and solutions
  • Patch management, monitoring and reporting
  • Assist with out of hours installations, server upgrades/patching and resolution of incidents/outages
  • Manage direct report(s) by training, coaching and appraising performance

Skills, Experience and Qualities:

Essential

  • Working with Group Policy administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Office365 and Windows10
  • Infrastructure change and project work
  • Working with Microsoft Server and Hyper-V VMware
  • Managing back-up and DR solutions

Preferred

  • Auto pilot knowledge
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell
  • Knowledge of ISO20001/ITIL
  • Sophos experience
  • People management
