Oversight Analyst

  Closing date: 31-03-2023
  Location: Glasgow

Startline Motor Finance is a different kind of car finance lender – we use a mix of technology, financial acumen, and our brilliant team to provide a flexible approach to car finance. Not only is this our approach to business, but it is ingrained in our culture and who we are as an employer.

We work with prominent franchised and independent dealers as well as leading specialist intermediaries.  We challenge the traditional approach taken in this sector by providing a uniquely flexible and agile offering that aims to meet the rapidly changing needs of car buyers and retailers.

We’ve created a culture where our values of being solutions-focussed, transparent, adaptable, responsive and teamworking are the foundation of everything we do. And on top of that, we’re sitting with a Trustpilot score of 4.7 and excellent customer service reviews.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Control, Compliance & Legal, our Oversight Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality assurance framework across the business is maintained and remains effective.  This role will ensure Startline’s high standards are upheld, while identifying continuous improvements to maintain performance.

This includes assurance of Startline’s internal processes, procedures and regulatory responsibilities while highlighting opportunities to further develop processes and service standards aiming for ‘best in class’.

Providing regular and documented feedback and trend analysis on oversight results, you will work closely with the business to develop an effective oversight framework.

We are looking for:

  • Quality & Assurance experience
  • Financial services experience preferred
  • Good, relevant and current knowledge of CONC, TCF Principles & GDPR
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive mindset with continuous improvement experience
  • Open and transparent style
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills
  • A team player
