Startline Motor Finance are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and customer focussed individual into the role of a Collections Analyst. We operate a customer centric approach to managing and controlling arrears cases and as a member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the business.

Key Activities:

  • Treating each customer fairly, you will understand their individual circumstances through effective questioning. This will allow you to agree appropriate solutions to meet the needs of both the customer and the company
  • Managing and controlling arrears cases through effective communication, you will ensure accurate recording of information, bringing the customer’s agreement up to date and will always adhere to Data Protection GDPR requirements
  • You will follow the company's compliance procedures which are in line with FCA regulations as these are very important to us
  • Completing income and expenditure assessments, negotiating where required, you will advise on suitable, affordable and sustainable repayment plans
  • You will build rapport through strong telephony, communication and negotiating skills
  • Adopting a continuous approach to your learning and development, you will maintain up to date knowledge of current operational and compliance policies and guidelines, along with your knowledge of regulatory and legislative changes

Skills, Experience and Qualities:

  • Previous experience working within a Collections environment is essential
  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge of TCF principles
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required
  • Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills
  • A positive mindset with continuous improvement

  • 35 hours per week. Shift work required between hours of 08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday, and 09:00 – 18:00 Saturday and Sunday
