Startline Motor Finance are looking to appoint motivated, driven and customer focused individuals into the role of Customer Service Advisor.

Reporting into the Customer Services Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the development and success of the business as you ensure best in class customer experience throughout the customer journey within our Customer Services Team.

You will deliver excellent customer service by working within clear guidelines and processes to optimise performance and customer outcomes, all whilst operating in a manner consistent with Startline’s values and behaviours.

Key Activities:

  • Process the customer service activities, ensuring relevant timescales are met
  • Abide by the contractual processes in line with FCA regulations with regard to early termination, the unwind process and vehicle finance cancellations
  • Ensure all customer calls and communications are appropriately and accurately logged on the system.
  • Ensuring customer requests and queries are dealt with promptly and consistently via the various communication channels
  • Ensure all customer data accurately maintained and adhering to Data Protection GDPR requirements
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of current Operational and Compliance policies and guidelines by attending Startline training sessions or external training as required, along with up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and legislative changes.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting and monitoring of trends within the department

Skills, Experience and Qualities:

  • Previous experience as a Customer Services Adviser or similar is essential
  • Previous experience within a customer service focused role
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required
  • Familiarity with prevailing regulatory and compliance requirements with particular reference to the Consumer Credit Act would be beneficial

  • Shift work required between hours of 08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday, and 09:00 – 18:00 Saturday and Sunday
