Credit Decisions Analyst (part time)

Part time opportunities have arisen within our Credit Decisions Team for Analysts.

What does the role look like?

As a Credit Decisions Analyst you will be responsible for evaluating proposals and making underwriting recommendations within our prescribed mandate level. You will utilise relevant data, techniques and policies in order to effectively evaluate proposals and drive great outcomes for our customers.  In order to do this, you will liaise with and assist other team members in the decision-making process. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all referred proosals have the relevant procedural checks
  • Ensure decisions are delivered in line with agreed deadlines and service standards
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of current Credit Decisions policies, guidelines and compliance issues
  • Provide internal and external customers with a professional, knowledgeable and efficient service
  • Remain vigilant to suspicions or evidence of fraud or anti-money laundering activities

Skills, Experience and Qualities:


  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite


  • Financial Services experience
  • Underwriting experience (preferably within Motor Finance)
  • Awareness and understanding of prevailing regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Further education qualification
