Startline Motor Finance are looking to appoint motivated, driven and customer focused individuals into the role of Customer Service Advisor.

Reporting into the Customer Services Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the development and success of the business as you deliver best in class customer experience throughout the customer journey within our Customer Services Team.

You will deliver excellent customer service by working within clear guidelines and processes to optimise performance and customer outcomes, all whilst operating in a manner consistent with Startline’s values and behaviours.

Key Activities:

• Answer customer queries by telephone and e mail, delivering a fast, efficient, friendly service.
• Work closely as a team to deliver to agreed service levels
• With the support and guidance of your Team Leader, adhere to set processes in line with FCA regulations
• Consider customers and colleagues by recording clear and concise notes
• Protect our customer’s information, ensuring all customer data is accurately maintained and adheres to Data Protection GDPR requirements
• Take full advantage of Startline’s excellent training opportunities and maintain an up to date understanding of Operational and Compliance policies  
• Share your knowledge and insights. Report and monitor trends within our department.

Skills, Experience and Qualities:

Essential:

• Previous experience as a Customer Services Adviser or similar
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook)

Preferred:

• Familiarity with prevailing regulatory and compliance requirements with particular reference to the Consumer Credit Act
